Have you heard the saying ‘wherever you go, there you are?’

As much as we try to escape what causes us pain and suffering, we cannot help but circle around to meet it time after time. We don’t pause long enough to take a look at the pain. We don’t stop to look at ourselves with love and compassion. In fact, most of us don’t really love ourselves and find it hard to be in our own company.

Most of us have experienced trauma on some level, from minor to major, and anywhere in between. It embeds itself in our very cells causing our emotional pain to fester into mental and physical health problems. What we resist persists and steals our joy and our health.

On the other hand, what we acknowledge, we can begin to learn to accept. Acceptance opens the door to healing, growth, resiliency, and empowerment.

This is where we meet.
